Made in partnership between Isle of Wight Distillery and the National Museum of the Royal Navy, Isle of Wight HMS Victory is a superb navy strength gin.
A portion of all profits from this gin will go towards paying for restoration work on HMS Victory, the Royal Navy's most illustrious warship.
The Isle of Wight Distillery is a long dreamt of collaboration between Xavier Baker, who has been brewing beer since 1995, and Conrad Gauntlet, who started making wine and growing vines back in 1985. The native flora of the Isle of Wight plays an important role in their produce, using rock samphire hand picked from the chalk cliffs and Isle of Wight grown Boadicea hops as some of their key botanicals.
The extra alcoholic strength of HMS Victory Gin is matched by a greater intensity of botanical oils. Grains of paradise shine through first on the palate, pairing with an alcohol heat. These are followed by the hearty punch of the juniper and a refreshing lemon zest.
