A Spanish innovation, Te Tonic Infusions Party Pack is a box of 12 gin botanical teabags and 8 botanical cases to infuse new flavours into your G&T.
The perfect way to mix-up a gin that you’ve become a little too used to, these dainty little bags may be small but they are absolutely bursting with flavour. Simply leave one of the ‘teabags’ in a glass of gin for 2 to 3 minutes, to create an intensely flavoured, aromatic gin with the personal touch.
The dried botanicals work similarly and can be used to add an infused flavour or as a garnish.
Each box contains 9 teabag flavours (2 each of red, orange and yellow, one each of the remaining varieties).
Each box also contains 8 small plastic cases filled with dried gin botanicals.
The teabag flavours are:
Red Passion - Red berries, hibiscus and apple. Sweet and rich, the dried berries bring out the sweetness in other botanicals. Try pairing with a classic, juniper-led gin for a softer, rounder and more aromatic drink.
Rose Jasmine - Jasmine tea, rose petals, hibiscus and apple. Light, fresh and brimming with soft floral aromas. Pair with a spiced gin to highlight each different botanical.
Yellow Citric - Lemon, cardamom and chamomile. The dry lemon combines with the soft chamomile to create an infusion that has an earthy, balanced flavour. Try in spiced gins to highlight the earthiness or classic London Drys to amplify the citrus.
Orange Energy - Orange and cinnamon. The perfume of fresh orange blossom is instantly noticeable, balanced by earthy cinnamon. A classic, festive, flavour combination that is ideal in gins with a pronounced spiciness.
Green Fresh - Cucumber, lemon verbena and cardamom. Light citrus pairs with floral cucumber and sharp cardamom for a fresh and penetrating taste. Amazing in very citrussy gins where the sharp infusion won't overpower the gin but balance it out.
White Essential - Lemon, orange, black pepper and cardamom. Sweet, sour and spicy, the various fruit botanicals combine to make a distinctly dry infusion that is very palatable in more floral gins.
Peach & Orange - Peach, papaya, apple, orange peel, sweet briar peel, sunflower petals. The combination of the natural sugars present in peach, together with the acidity of the orange, is delightful mixed with any pure dry vodka
Caribbean & Pineapple - Apple, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, calendula petals. Blend with vodka for 4-6 minutes to create a Caribbean cocktail in a glass. The perfect choice for drier types of vodka, since the natural sugars create a cocktail with the dried fruits.
Mojito & Lemon - Lemon rind, lemon verbena, mint, spearmint, liquorice root, lemon grass. Intense mint and refreshing citrus combine to evoke the classic cocktail, a mojito. Blend with vodka for 4-6 minutes to release the flavours.
The dried botanicals included are:
Juniper Berries - The classic gin botanical boosts the dryness and piney notes.
Cardamom - Pungent and spicy, blends well with spicy gins.
Cassia - Related to cinnamon but sweeter, adds an earthiness to gin.
Hibiscus Flowers - Sweet and aromatic, they intensify the floral notes of lighter gins.
Orange Peel - Floral and sweet, boosts both the citrus and aromatic profiles of a London Dry.
Star Anise - The distinctly Chinese flavour utterly transforms any gin it is added to with a numbing heat.
Pink Pepper - Obviously peppery but with a fruitiness too, they really elevate fruity gins to a new dimension.
Allspice - Nutty, earthy and spicy, allspice adds an almost Christmas spice to any gin.
No added colours, additives or preservatives.
