Located in the rural Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia, Smooth Ambler uses state-of-the-art distillery equipment in conjunction with the natural resources of the region; high-valley mountain air, natural waters, ideal temperature variations and friendly folks. The result is a range of truly remarkable, crafted drinks.
Rather interestingly, the base spirit for Greenbrier is made from 68% corn, 16% wheat and 16% malted barley. This range of flavours comes through delicately in the final product. Greenbrier begins as a seriously citrus gin, reined in by a hint of sweet malt. The zestiness subsides to reveal fresh juniper, peppery heat and angelica and leads into a long, dry finish.
