Perfect for classic cocktails, Plymouth Gin (the only British gin with Protected Geographical Indication) is fresh and junipery with a long dry finish.
Established in 1793. Plymouth Gin is Britain’s oldest distillery still operating in its original location. Having been the favourite of sailors worldwide and a beloved gin of bartenders, it has been firmly imprinted in the minds of many.
Plymouth Gin has a great depth of flavour with deep earthy notes and a wonderfully fresh juniper and lemony bite. It has a slight sweetness with extraordinary concentration and complexity. No single botanical dominates the overall flavour. The finish is long and dry.
Nice every day gin, definitely long and dry rather than smooth.
I have bought this gin to make into cocktails and they were delicious. It doesn't have a particularly striking flavour so needs a bit of dressing up.
Had really high expectations as it's not really that cheap, but it's just 100% average. It's OK but not a good gin in my opinion. The bottle is very pretty though :)
