Antonio Mascaró spent many years honing his gin recipe and at last decided on a spirit whose only botanical is the Juniperus Communi berry, picked from the mountains near Vilafranca. Producing wine, cava, liqueurs, brandy and, of course, gin, three generations of the Mascaro family have dedicated themselves to the distillation of premium spirits. Mascaro is an unaged gin, making it brilliantly clear.
It has a powerful sense of pine and juniper on the nose with a fresh and sharp taste. The juniper is unencumbered and its citrus and pepper notes shine through. A simple but fantastic gin.
