Gin Lane 1751 Victoria Pink Gin is distilled with aromatic bitters to recreate the classic "Pink Gin" cocktail.
Gin Lane is the result of a collaboration between The Bloomsbury Club, a group of drinks industry veterans seeking to recreate drinks of the Victorian era, and 8th generation London distiller, Charles Maxwell of Thames Distillers, based in Clapham, London. Together they've set out to capture the spirit of an age.
A "Pink Gin" is an English way of drinking Gin first created by members of Royal Navy to balance out dry and sweet gins. Simply add a dash of bitters (normally Angostura) to a measure of gin for a refreshingly tart libation. This peculiar concoction has all the depth of a pink gin in one bottle. A well-balanced gin with an infusion of naturally blended spiced bitters, Sharp and spiced with peppery juniper and tart fruit.
Serve it neat or with soda water to preserve the delicate flavour of the bitters.
