Made using their amazingly smooth original gin, 6 O'Clock Damson Gin balances sharp, dry and fruity flavours for a gorgeous liqueur that's ideal neat.
Based just outside Bristol, Bramley & Gage have been making liqueurs for over 20 years and have now added 6 O'Clock Damson Gin to their offerings. 6 O'Clock Damson Gin takes its name from Edward Kain, the dapper gentleman seafarer and great-grandfather of Bramley & Gage's Head Distiller. Edward enjoyed his gin at 6 o'clock every day, in true naval fashion.
6 O'Clock Damson Gin is similar to a sloe gin, and made in a similar fashion. Hand-picked British damsons are left to infuse in the original 6 O'Clock Gin with a small amount of sugar. The end result is fruity and rich, like a sloe gin, but much more tart and dry, which balances better with the botanicals in the gin.
A superb liqueur which is delicious served neat over ice or topped up with ginger ale.
