1831 Blue Gin has a distinct blue colour and herbal flavour. Produced with mineral water from the Nervion river with juniper, clove and cinnamon.
Manuel Acha Distillery, the oldest company in the Basque Country, as well as one of the oldest family businesses in Europe has a huge history and tradition in the production of high-quality liquor. Located in the center of Amurrio (Alava), they combine artisan manufacturing systems with traditional methods and cutting edge technology.
The result is a range of very high quality products. 1831 Blue Gin begins with the maceration of juniper, aromatic herbs and spices with five times distilled grain alcohol which is subsequently redistilled in 19th century copper stills. The juniper is the dominant flavour initially but there is a long herbal aftertaste.
