Top 5 Fruity Gins For Be-gin-ners

Here at Gin Festival HQ we love a fruity little number and we know you do too! Fruity gins are full of flavour and sweeter than the classic London Dry, which makes them perfect for beg-gin-ners, or any gin lover. If you or your friends haven't found a gin you like, or even *gasp* don’t like it, give these juicy drinks a try. You’ll be a gin convert in no time!

If you’re already a master in the world of gin then try them neat - fruity gins are a gorgeously warming drink on a chilly night *cheers*!

So give fruity gins a go, we’ve picked out our top 5 right now for you to try.

Boe Scottish Bramble Gin Liqueur
Starting with unmistakable flavours of blackcurrants, blackberries and black raspberries, Boë Scottish Bramble Gin Liqueur develops notes of apple and citrus, before leading into a lingering, sweet finish.

Edinburgh Gin Plum & Vanilla Liqueur
Sweet and intense, delicious neat or mixed with Prosecco. Edinburgh Gin Plum & Vanilla Liqueur is a gorgeously indulgent drink, created by taking ripe juicy plums, macerating them with soft Madagascan vanilla and then infusing the mixture into Edinburgh Gin, mmmmmm. A beautiful deep plum colour, the flavour is sweet and rich with hints of almond and a creamy vanilla finish.

Caspyn Cornish Summer Cup
This is an exceptionally tasty fruity drink, packed full of fresh raspberries, strawberries, blackberries and warming spices - think Pimms but even better! Caspyn Cornish Summer Cup perfectly blends floral and fruity notes with raspberries, strawberries and blackberries on the nose. Enjoy the development of citrus on the palate, followed by cinnamon lingering for a soft, spicy finish.

Elephant Sloe Gin
Fresh and sweet with a burst of sloe berries plus a hint of nuts and spice on the palate, followed by blackberry and, of course, sloe berries on the finish. This is a perfect drink to warm you up on a chilly evening. Plus you can be a hero and save elephants while drinking gin!

The fantastic Elephant Gin herd is inspired by Africa and the lovely people at Elephant don’t just use botanicals from Africa in their recipe, they give 15% of all proceeds from Elephant Gin and Elephant Sloe Gin to 2 African elephant foundations that support the preservation of wildlife in Africa.

PJ Gin Elderflower
Smooth and gloriously fresh and floral. Citrus tones cut through sweet elderflower for a drink that goes down a little too easily. Which is probably why it’s so popular at our events! Infusing PJ Gin Dry with elderflower and lemon has created a gin that is gorgeously sweet with a zesty bite.

So give one a go, give all 5 a go, sit back, relax and enjoy your fruity gins...
