This month we were lucky enough to have the brand new Sanction Gin as our Gin Of The Month and did we mention we were excited about it..! Pomegranate & Jasmine is made using the delicious Sanction Gin (London Dry) we all know and love as the base, then infusing it with the superfruit pomegranate and light, fragrant jasmine.
The gorgeously light and fresh gin, bursting with fruity flavour and beautifully balanced by delicate floral notes is perfect for experimenting with in cocktails! So after lots of testing, tasting and mixing we bring you a truly delicious gin cocktail, the Gin Festival take on the classic Tom Collins!
2 Parts Sanction Pomegranate and Jasmine Gin
1 Part Lemon Juice
½ Part Sugar Syrup (mix 2 tbsp boiling water and 2 tbsp sugar to make a simple syrup)
Lemon Wheel to garnish
Add the Gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup to an ice filled glass and stir thoroughly. Top with soda and garnish with a lemon wheel. Sit back, relax and enjoy one or two!
* i. Parts made simple. Just stick to the ratios, so if you are making a jug ¼ of the jug could be 1 part, ½ the jug 2 parts. For 1 cocktail, 1 part would be approx 25ml and a dash 5ml, if you are making 2 cocktails, 1 part would be approx 50ml and so on - experiment and give it a try.
Use the right ice, ice, baby and make the best tasting G&Ts and cocktails ever!
