Introducing Gin Explorer, our new monthly gin subscription service featuring the world’s best gins.
Gin Explorer is an exciting new subscription service that aims to take you on your very own journey through the vast and ever expanding world of gin, without ever leaving your house. And you can win a 3 month subscription.
Each month you will receive a carefully themed box featuring 4 x 50ml miniatures of new, rare and unusual gins, that take you on an expedition around the world. Not only do you receive the gin, but also literature and information about the heritage and origin of the gins, attentively created by our experts, to help increase your knowledge and passion for gin. Your Gin Explorer experience will also include surprises each month, including mixers for you to experiment with and other gin treats.
March was the first official edition of Gin Explorer and the maiden flight featured a world tour that trekked through the varied origins of the different botanicals that go into your gin and tonic. We start in the depths of South America where the chinchona bark used to make Franklin & Sons Natural Indian Tonic Water is grown. We then crossed the Atlantic Ocean, all the way to Madagascar, for the acacia blossom found in Silverback Gin, before a short jaunt to India to pick up some Buddha's Hand to add to your Porter's Gin. Europe next, where the Italian lemons are grown that give Strathearn Oaked Highland Gin it's citrus note. Finally we're back in Africa, in Morocco to get the limes that give Becketts London Dry Gin its unmistakeable flavour.
To add to the adventure, all subscribers to Gin Explorer will receive a 10% discount off any products from the Gin Festival Shop that featured in that month's box.
