To help you stick to your ‘clean eating’ kick we bring you our favourite gin smoothies.
It’s winter. The time of joining gyms and starting diets to burn off all those extra Christmas calories. Who said diets have to be boring? Now we're not saying you need to lose weight or that we can help you if that's your aim! But these smoothies taste so good and healthy, you’ll feel great after a couple (whether that’s the fruit of gin, we don’t know).
So here you have them, 3 super tasty gin smoothies!
2 Parts ginger juice
1 Parts kale juice
½ Part lime juice
1 Part gin
tbsp. agave nectar
½ cup ice.
Shake or blend until smooth; strain or pour into the glass of your choice.
4 Parts tomato juice (chilled)
½ Part fresh lemon juice
¼ cup chopped English cucumber
½ Part Worcestershire sauce
½ Part horseradish
2 Part gin
2-3 ice cubes.
Place all ingredients in a blender until smooth, pour into tall glass, garnish with celery stalk or cucumber wedge.
2 Parts gin
80g strawberries, frozen
1 Part lime juice
8 Parts sugar-free tonic water
Frozen strawberries, to garnish
In a blender, combine gin, frozen strawberries and lime and puree until smooth. In a glass, add ice cubes and some frozen strawberries. Pour in mixture slowly, leaving room. Top with tonic water and serve.
