There’s nothing better than fresh strawberries or raspberries with a splash of cream on a hot day! Nothing except a berry gin cocktail.
It’s that time of year when ripe strawberries and raspberries seem to be everywhere and while they make a great snack or dessert, they’re also something pretty special in drinks. Here’s our favourite:
Chill a martini glass.
Shake all the ingredients together over ice; reserving one spoonful of your chosen jam.
Add a little jam to the bottom of the chilled glass.
Strain the contents of the shaker into the chilled glass.
Garnish with a slice of melba toast or 2 slices of strawberry/raspberry as appropriate.
Once you have drunk the martini use the melba toast to scoop the delicious ginfused jam!
