Here’s one way to make running much more fun, Secret London Runs are offering a gin-themed running tour with a lovely G&T at the end!
The best way to keep your New Year’s resolution, this run will take you on a tour through London’s love affair with gin. If you already love gin and running then there’s no better combination. And if you love gin but hate running, well, maybe that delicious drink at the end might just be all the motivation you need!
The experience includes a guided 10km run through the streets of London where your tour guide will help you explore the city’s long history with gin. The tour will take in several historical sites that have an important gin connection, stopping occasionally to play some fun gin-themed games. It finishes up at a modern gin palace where all the runners will be treated to a well-deserved gin and tonic; running is thirsty work after all!
Organised by Secret London Runs, the Gin, Glorious Gin run will take place from April 2nd to 6th. Listed as one of the top 10 outdoor activities in London by Trip Advisor, Secret London Runs offer a variety of running tour events. “What’s a running tour,” you may ask? Basically, it’s the same idea as a guided walking tour, but slightly faster (so you can get to the bar quicker).
You ticket gets you entry to the run and your free G&T, plus a goody bag, a copy of Hurrah For Gin by Katy Kirby, and a bag drop.
