Our #Shelfie competition is over and we've seen some fabulous gin collection photos from you all, here are our absolute favourites.
Although yes, the competition over on Facebook and Instagram have ended, why not show off your #shelfies anyway? Yes, it makes us extremely envious but we love to see all our gin fans showcasing their many bottles of wonderful gin.
After scrolling through hundreds of #shelfies (thirsty work), we narrowed them down to our favourite 13. Starting with the winning image.
Congratulations to Fiona Lloyd who is the #shelfie competition winner. What can we say Fiona, your glass collection alone shows your true dedication to all things gin. The organisation of your shelves is to be applauded. But it's the bunting that really won it for you. We bet everyone wants to be a part of your gin club, including us!
Second place goes to David Sanders. Whose handmade shelves impressed us nearly as much as your devoted love for Gordons. Never the less your collection is something to be proud of and we hope you never stop adding.
Third place goes to Becky Lomax. We know you are a part of the Gin Explorer club and now we can see where all the lovely little bottles are ending up. The signs would also make any gin lover feel right at home. Your #shelflie is simply amazing.
We are very impressed with this #shelfie from @coastaldale. We advise you source some more shelves for all the lonely bottles on the floor, but we can 'Gin and bare it' we guess.
Our cocktail master Pete isn't allowed to win the contest but we did have to spotlight his miniature collection. It takes quite the self control not to tuck into that when you're at work.
Emmielour_84 has her gin shelf above the sofa, for easy access.
Paddyspubginclub can't fit all the gin in one photo, but they can fit in their sense of wide-eyed wonder at so much great gin!
Chris Bush's #sheflie houses the most gin we've ever seen on three shelves. We also love how diverse the collection is, we couldn't spot more than one of the same gin!
Well Michelle Ewing... we're not sure you could class this as a #shelfie but it certainly is a uniquely fantastic gin collection.
You may have seen Nicol Sculler's #shelife in our previous blog but this time it's a little different. The fairy lights give the ginny goodness the spotlights they deserve and of course, we can't forget to mention your love for Bombay!
We know this isn't exactly a #shelfie, but this is pure evidence of a truly enjoyable holiday season! Now they are all empty Fiona O'Neill can start a brand new one!
Last but by no means least here's a #shelfie from Steven Ellis, who we think may be a bit of a bloom fan! Not only do we love the sign but...is that a... gin jacket?
Have you been inspired? Do you have a shelf that needs transforming? Why not make a start on your own gin collection? To help, we've got 100s of gin for you to choose from over on our gin shop.
Tea and gin are two quintessentially British drinks, and despite neither actually originating in the UK they’ve both become required refreshment over here.
Anyone required to look after just one child will know the familiar feeling of fulfilment, joy, and very much needing a large gin and tonic.
