Full time - 40 hours per week.

Salary - £28,000 - £34,000 negotiable dependant on experience

Gin Festival is a forward thinking and rapidly growing events and e-commerce company. We are  fast moving growing company offering an exciting new position within our buying team for a merchandiser.

Main roles and responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop a strategy to enable the company to sell a range of products that delivers sales and profit targets.  

  • Work closely with the team to ensure the products will achieve the sales plan

  • Analyse past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs.

  • Devise and deliver the merchandise plan

  • Devise a contract for the suppliers including quality control, accuracy and flexibility.

  • Allocating certain amounts of stock, to each area of the business to allow for maximum flexibility.

  • Monitor stock movement, consider markdowns, promotions or clear outs etc.

  • Chase suppliers for delivery of stock to the right place, on time.


Skills, experience and qualification:

  • Some experience of the Gin industry with an understanding of customers' needs, and economic trends would be an advantage

  • Trustworthy

  • Analyse data to identify trends and potential risks and opportunities.

  • Excellent communication skills with a confident and positive attitude

  • Resilience to pressure and the ability to make judgements in a calm and controlled manner

  • Ability to multitask and work on several projects with strong personal organisation skills


You may be required to work overtime in busy periods.
