Events Assistant - Stock Logistics
Full-time, Wednesday - Sunday, events based.
1 year contract with a 6 months probationary period per calendar year
Salary - £18,000 (dependant on experience)

Main roles and responsibilities:
Stock management at the events including updating the stocking system to ensure Odoo (a stock management system) is accurate, in regards to distribution to the bars, off-license and deliveries to the event
Be at the event venue before the events team to ensure wagons are unloaded safely and to meet all health and safety standards
During events, oversee the distribution of pallets, equipment and stock during the setup period
Train and supervise the runners / bar backs
Oversee the distribution of ice and refuge at the events
At breakdown, ensure all equipment is safely loaded and ready for transportation back to base
Supervision of defined aspects of an event to manage safety
To carry out any other duties appropriate to the grade and nature of the post as directed
Skills, experience and qualification:
Proven experience of events work
Ability to lift and build bars
Be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
Full clean driving licence and the ability to drive vans/minibus is essential
Between the events this job could involve working in our warehouse to ensure the stock and equipment is safely turned around in between events.
The role is hands-on and often involves working away from home. We are a nationwide company with a full calendar of events and this role will work all events in the calendar. When away from home all transport and accommodation costs are covered.
The right person must understand that this role involves working to tight deadlines and so should have good planning skills, time management and be able multi-taskask. It's essential to be a good communicator with the ability to think autonomously and work under pressure.
