Gin Festival Event Manager:

Wages: £22,000 per year

Job Description:

We are a fast growing company offering an exciting new position within our nationwide company.

The role of Event Manager is to assist and manage all operations, planning, running and organisation of our Events programme. The role is hands-on and often involves working away from home. When away from home all transport and accommodation costs are covered and days of in lieu are given to cover for weekends worked in the weeks that follow.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Help source suitable venues for new festivals, organise site visits and make venue bookings

  • Negotiating terms with suppliers and venues

  • Support the Event Director to prepare management plans and safety documentation

  • Prepare and distribute publicity materials such as press releases, posters, banners

  • Attend events to manage the set-up, delivery and breakdown

  • To manage safety and customer service

  • Produce and undertake customer satisfaction surveys

  • To carry out any other duties appropriate to the grade and nature of the post as directed

  • Ensuring insurance, legal and health and safety obligations are adhered to

  • Coordinating staffing requirements and briefings

  • Post event evaluation

Key Skills:

  • Proven event management experience

  • Excellent time management and organisation skills

  • People management skills

  • MS office

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Ability to multitask and work on several projects

  • Personal License (preferable but not essential)

Based in Keighley, West Yorkshire

Job Type: Full-time Permanent with a 6 month probationary period
