Full time - 40 hours per week.
Salary - £17,000 - £19,000 dependant on experience.

Roles and responsibilities:
Ordering of materials, supplies, and/or equipment including the follow through with vendors on shipment and delivery.
Select vendors, place orders, and arrange for service contract if applicable.
Follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
Maintain records and follow-up files of purchases, shipments, and related matters.
Maintain files of descriptions of available supplies.
Inspect products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications if necessary.
Performs other related job duties as required.
Ability and confidence to negotiate prices.
Skills, experience and qualifications:
Good organisation skills with a keen eye for detail.
Outgoing and approachable with the ability to build a good rapport with suppliers and colleagues.
Excellent IT skills.
Knowledge of accounting software.
Ability to multitask.
At least 2 years experience in an accounting office.
Strong computer skills with the ability to pick things up quickly and efficiently.
2 years proven purchasing experience.
You may be required to work overtime in busy periods.
