Full time, permanent with a 6 month probationary period

Salary - £16,000 dependent on experience

Job Description:

This is an exciting new opportunity within a growing events and ecommerce business for a Logistics Administrator. We are looking for someone to help support our growing warehouse and logistics team.

Main roles and responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the warehouse manager to ensure the warehouse and its staff work smoothly and effectively.

  • Receive, issue and transfer stock using in-house stock program.

  • Data entry and inventory of all stock and goods.

  • Ensure all pick lists are printed and carried out effectively and to deadlines.

  • Ensure the events inventory are picked and are accurate.

  • To carry out general stock administration.

  • Ensure the accuracy of paperwork at all times.

  • Ensure all computer related work is on time and accurate.

  • To maintain close liaison with our Purchasing, Events and Internet Teams.  

  • To liaise with our other offices where applicable.

  • To have flexible working patterns to ensure the needs of the business are met.

  • Maintain office equipment and supplies.

  • Any other duties in accordance with the post as requested.

Skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Excellent computer skills.

  • Previous administration experience essential.

  • Friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and able to build relationships.

  • Ability to multitask and work on several projects with strong personal organisation skills.

  • Trustworthy.

  • Full clean driving licence.

  • Can use own initiative and is willing to make decisions within the accepted parameters of the role.

  • Ability to work with others and support others effectively in a team.
