Full Time

Wages: Starting wage £22,000

First 6 months trial, pay review after 6 months.

Job Description:

The role of Event Manager is to assist and manage all operations, planning, running and organisation of our Events programme.

Main roles and responsibilities:

  • Help source suitable venues for new festivals, organise site visits

and make venue bookings

  • Negotiating terms with suppliers and venues

  • Support the Event Director to prepare management plans and safety documentation

  • Prepare and distribute publicity materials such as press releases, posters, banners

  • Attend events to manage the set-up, delivery and breakdown

  • To manage safety and customer service

  • Produce and undertake customer satisfaction surveys

  • To carry out any other duties appropriate to the grade and nature of the post as directed

  • Ensuring insurance, legal and health and safety obligations are adhered to

  • Coordinating staffing requirements and briefings

  • Post event evaluation


  • Proven event management experience

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • MS office

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Ability to multitask and work on several projects

  • Personal License (would be nice)

The role is hands on and often involves working away from home, we are a nationwide company with a full calendar of events. When away from home all transport and accommodation costs are covered and days of in lieu are given to cover for weekends worked in the weeks that follow in agreement with line managers.
